2 In A Room
2 in a Room was an American hip hop, freestyle, and hip house duo originating from the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City. The group was active from 1987 to 1995 and consisted of rapper Rafael "Dose" Vargas and producer/remixer Roger "Rog Nice" Pauletta. They gained prominence with their 1990 hit single "Wiggle It," which topped the US Hot Dance Club Play chart for two weeks and reached number three on the UK Singles Chart. The track also climbed to number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning a gold certification. Their debut album, "Wiggle It," released in 1990, received critical acclaim from outlets like Q Magazine. Before "Wiggle It," they were known for the track "Do What You Want," which was popular in clubs in New York and Chicago. In 1994, they released "El Trago (The Drink)," which was their last entry on the Billboard Hot 100. The duo later transitioned to a merengue style under the name Fulanito. Rafael Vargas also became a member of the group 740 Boyz.
