Blue Boy
Blue Boy, also known as The Blue Boy, is the pseudonym of Scottish DJ Alexis 'Lex' Blackmore. He gained prominence in the music scene with his track "Remember Me," which reached No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart in 1997. Blackmore's career as a DJ began in Glasgow and London, where he toured with the British electronic group The Shamen in 1991. He adopted the Blue Boy moniker in 1995, releasing the single "Sandman" on Ascension Records, followed by the EP "Scattered Emotions" in 1996. A re-release of "Sandman" in 1997 saw it climb to No. 25 on the UK Singles Chart. Blue Boy's work is primarily associated with the house music genre.
