Andy Kim
Andy Kim, born Androwis Youakim on December 5, 1946, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is a renowned Canadian pop rock singer and songwriter. Of Lebanese descent, Kim moved to New York City as a teenager to pursue a music career, initially facing challenges but eventually gaining the attention of music producer Jeff Barry. This led to his first hit, "How'd We Ever Get This Way?" in 1968.

Kim co-wrote the iconic "Sugar, Sugar" for the Archies, which topped the U.S. charts and was named the RIAA Record of the Year in 1969. He achieved further success with hits like "Baby, I Love You" and "Rock Me Gently," the latter reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1974. Kim was awarded the Juno Award for Best Male Vocalist in 1970 and has sold over 30 million records globally.

In the late 1970s, Kim adopted the stage name Baron Longfellow, releasing several albums under this pseudonym. He continued to perform and record music, collaborating with artists such as Ed Robertson from Barenaked Ladies. Kim was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2019 and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2023. Throughout his career, he has remained a beloved figure in the music industry, known for his timeless hits and enduring influence.
