Little Eva
Eva Narcissus Boyd (June 29, 1943 – April 10, 2003), known by her stage name Little Eva, was an American pop singer. She gained fame with her hit song "The Locomotion." Although some sources suggest her stage name was inspired by a character from the novel "Uncle Tom’s Cabin," Little Eva clarified in an interview that she was named after her aunt, leading her family to call her “Little Eva.” Her notable songs include "Swinging On A Star," "Let’s Turkey Trot," and "Keep Your Hands Off My Baby." Her popular albums include "The Best of Little Eva" (1988) and "Swinging On A Star" (1963).
