Jaydee
Robin Albers, known by his stage name Jaydee, is a prominent Dutch house music producer and DJ. Born in the Netherlands, Albers initially pursued a career in sports, playing for the Dutch national baseball team and achieving the title of triple Dutch arm-wrestling champion. Transitioning to music, he became one of the pioneering mixing DJs in Holland during the seventies, performing in clubs across the country and later hosting his own radio show for eleven years.

Jaydee gained international fame with the release of "Plastic Dreams" in 1992, a track that topped the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. The song is noted for its distinctive Hammond organ-style synthesizer melody. "Plastic Dreams" has been remixed and re-released numerous times, maintaining its popularity over the years.

In addition to his work as a DJ and producer, Albers has been involved in organizing the Dutch Mixing Championship and has hosted various music and sports programs on national television. He also runs his own label, First Impression, and a club near Utrecht. Jaydee's contributions to the dance music scene have made him a respected figure in the industry.
