Diane Warren
Diane Eve Warren, born on September 7, 1956, in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California, is a renowned American songwriter and music publisher. With a career spanning from 1983 to the present, Warren has made significant contributions to the pop, R&B, soul, and pop rock genres. She gained initial recognition with DeBarge's 1985 hit "Rhythm of the Night" and became the first songwriter to have seven hits by different artists on the Billboard charts simultaneously.

Warren has penned nine number-one songs and 33 top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including iconic tracks like "If I Could Turn Back Time" by Cher, "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion, and "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith. Her work has earned her numerous accolades, including an Academy Honorary Award, a Grammy, an Emmy, two Golden Globes, and three consecutive Billboard Music Awards for Songwriter of the Year from 1997 to 1999. Despite 16 Oscar nominations without a win, she received an honorary Oscar in 2022.

Warren founded the publishing company Realsongs, where she retains the rights to her extensive catalog. Known for her prolific output, she writes in a dedicated room she calls her "secret world." Her contributions to music have been recognized with her induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
