Neja
Agnese Cacciola, known professionally as Neja, is an Italian singer born on August 15, 1972, in Turin, Italy. She began her musical journey as a child studying piano and later transitioned into singing jazz and gospel during her teenage years. Neja's professional music career took off in 1996 with the release of her debut single "Hallo." She gained significant recognition in 1998 with the singles "Restless" and "Shock," which became popular in dance clubs across Europe.
In 1999, Neja's song "The Game" earned her a victory at the Un disco per l'estate festival and a prominent appearance at the Festivalbar, a well-known Italian music program. Her debut album, also titled "The Game," showcased her pop sensibilities and included several international dance hits like "Time Flies," "Back 4 The Morning," "Singin' Nanana," and "Fairytale."
Throughout her career, Neja has explored various musical styles, including a notable shift in 2008 with the release of her album "Acousticlub," which featured jazz and acoustic arrangements.
