Billy Moore
Billy Moore, born on January 28, 1957, in London, Kentucky, is a celebrated sound engineer known for his extensive career in the music industry. He began his journey in the Lexington, KY club scene, working on lighting and audio. In the mid-1980s, he notably worked a show for Ray Charles at Breedings in Lexington.

In 1979, Billy joined the band Exile as their front house engineer, a role he held until 1992, touring globally. After a brief hiatus, he returned to the road with Trace Adkins from 1996 to 2000. His career further expanded as he toured with artists such as Mark Chestnut, Craig Campbell, and Montgomery Gentry from 2003 to 2013, during which he participated in USO tours during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

From 2014 until his retirement in 2023, Billy toured with Eric Church. His exceptional skills earned him the CMA Front House Engineer of the Year award in 2017. Billy Moore is notably the first crew member to be inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, a testament to his impact on the industry.

Married to Rebecca for 34 years, they have two children, Lauren and Dalton. Now retired, Billy enjoys his time with family and continues to support local artists and music events.
