Umberto Giordano
Umberto Giordano (1867-1948) was a prominent Italian opera composer, best known for his work "Andrea Chénier," which centers on the French Romantic poet executed during the French Revolution. Another of his notable operas is "Fedora," which is occasionally revived. Giordano's contributions to the operatic repertoire during his lifetime were significant, and his works continue to be performed today.
