Billy Steinberg
Billy Steinberg, born William Endfield Steinberg on February 26, 1950, in Fresno, California, is a renowned American songwriter and musician. He grew up in Fresno and later moved to Palm Springs, California, where he worked in his father's table grape operation. Steinberg's educational background includes attending the Cate School in California and Bard College in New York.

In the late 1970s, Steinberg formed the band Billy Thermal, which was signed to Richard Perry's Planet Records. The band's breakthrough came when Linda Ronstadt recorded their song "How Do I Make You?" for her 1980 album "Mad Love," which became a Top 10 hit. Steinberg's songwriting career took off in the 1980s through his collaboration with Tom Kelly. Together, they wrote numerous No. 1 hits, including "Like a Virgin" by Madonna, "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper, "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles, "So Emotional" by Whitney Houston, and "Alone" by Heart.

After Kelly retired in the 1990s, Steinberg continued to collaborate with other songwriters, producing hits like "Falling Into You" for Celine Dion and "All About Us" by t.A.T.u. His work has earned him significant recognition, including induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2011. Despite his public success, Steinberg maintains a private personal life, with details about his relationships and family not publicly disclosed. As of recent estimates, his net worth is approximately $25 million, reflecting his enduring impact on the music industry.
