Tony Hatch
Anthony Peter Hatch OBE, known professionally as Tony Hatch, was born on June 30, 1939, in Pinner, Middlesex, England. A talented composer, songwriter, pianist, arranger, and producer, Hatch has made significant contributions to musical theatre and television music. Encouraged by his pianist mother, he attended the London Choir School in Bexley, Kent, and later joined the music industry in London's Tin Pan Alley with Robert Mellin Music.

Hatch's early career saw him working with The Rank Organisation's Top Rank Records, where he wrote songs under the pseudonym Mark Anthony and produced music for various artists. His composition "Look for a Star" became a notable hit, charting in both the UK and the US. After Top Rank was sold to EMI, Hatch joined Pye Records, where he collaborated with artists like Petula Clark, contributing to her number 1 hit "Sailor."

Throughout his career, Hatch has been involved in producing, arranging, and writing for numerous artists, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the music industry.
