Neil Diamond
Neil Leslie Diamond, born on January 24, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, is an acclaimed American singer-songwriter. He has sold over 130 million records globally, making him one of the best-selling musicians in history. Diamond's illustrious career began in the 1960s when he wrote pop songs for other artists before launching his solo career. He is renowned for hits like "Sweet Caroline," "Cracklin' Rosie," and "Song Sung Blue," among others.

Diamond's musical journey started at age 16 when he received his first guitar. He attended New York University with plans to enter medical school but left to work as a songwriter at the Brill Building. His breakthrough came when he signed with Bang Records in 1965, releasing his debut album, "The Feel of Neil," the following year. He penned "I'm a Believer," famously recorded by the Monkees.
