Nino Rota
Nino Rota, born on December 3, 1911, in Milan and passed away on April 10, 1979, in Rome, was an influential Italian composer renowned for his work in film music. Among his most celebrated compositions are the soundtracks for "The Godfather" and "The Godfather Part II" by Coppola, "The Leopard" by Visconti, and "La Strada" by Fellini. His exceptional contribution to cinema was recognized with an Oscar for Best Original Score for "The Godfather Part II" in 1975.
