Andy Street
Andy Street, born on December 15, 1957, in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, England, is a renowned composer, conductor, and pianist. He began his musical journey at a young age, composing and performing professionally by the age of 12. Street pursued formal education in music at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, where he earned an M.A. in musical composition. He studied piano under Gordon Green and Doreen Clemes of the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Street's career spans various roles in the music department, including composing, conducting, and providing soundtracks for television series such as "Five Alive," "Time After Time," and "Madeline in Tahiti." He has worked extensively on animated series, winning a Cable Ace Award in 1994 and an Emmy in 2002 for his work on the animated TV series "Madeline." His compositions have been featured on major television shows like "American Idol" and "So You Think You Can Dance," reaching audiences in over 100 countries.

In addition to his television work, Street has released several albums and singles, including tributes to Yanni and George Winston, and has been involved in various musical projects with artists like John Knight and Mickey Simmonds. He also serves as the Performing Arts Coordinator at Ojai Valley School in California, where he continues to contribute to the school's tradition of excellence in music and drama.

Street has been married to Anne Johnson since November 1988, and they have two children. Despite his success, he remains unassuming and deeply connected to his roots in Derbyshire, England. His life in Los Angeles has been marked by both professional achievements and personal challenges, including the tragic loss of his young son in a skateboarding accident. Andy Street continues to be a significant figure in the music industry, known for his dedication and passion for the arts.
