Tito Larriva
Humberto "Tito" Larriva, born in 1953 in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, is a renowned Mexican-born American songwriter, singer, musician, and actor. Larriva's early life saw him growing up in Fairbanks, Alaska, and El Paso, Texas, where he developed his musical talents by playing the violin in school orchestras and singing in church and school choirs. He briefly attended Yale University before moving to Mexico City and then Los Angeles, California, in 1975.

Larriva's music career took off as the vocalist and rhythm guitarist for The Plugz, a pioneering punk band he formed in Hollywood in 1978. The Plugz were instrumental in the West Coast punk scene, releasing albums like "Electrify Me" and "Better Luck" and contributing to the soundtrack of the cult film "Repo Man." In 1979, Larriva co-founded Fatima Records, which released several influential records in the punk genre.

In 1984, The Plugz evolved into the Cruzados, releasing two albums before disbanding in 1990. Larriva then formed Tito & Tarantula in 1992, a band known for its contributions to the soundtrack of Robert Rodriguez's film "Desperado." Tito & Tarantula became Larriva's main musical outlet, showcasing his unique blend of rock, punk, and Chicano influences.

Throughout his career, Larriva has been active in both the music and film industries, living in Austin, Texas, with his wife and daughter.
