Blue States
Blue States is an English electronic music group founded in 1997 in London and led by Andy Dragazis. Known for their trip hop, experimental, electronica, and downtempo sound, the band has been active since its inception and continues to produce music. The group gained notable recognition when "Season Song" from their 2002 album "Man Mountain" was featured on the soundtrack of the British horror film "28 Days Later." Over the years, Blue States has released several albums, including "Nothing Changes Under the Sun" (2000), "Man Mountain" (2002), "The Soundings" (2004), "First Steps Into..." (2007), "Restless Spheres" (2016), and "World Contact Day" (2022). The band has been associated with the label Memphis Industries and has seen various members contribute to its evolving sound, including Chris Carr, Jon Chandler, and Sam Walker. Andy Dragazis, the driving force behind Blue States, has also been involved in other musical projects and collaborations, further enriching the band's creative output.
