Robert Miles
Roberto Concina, known professionally as Robert Miles, was a Swiss-born Italian record producer, composer, musician, and DJ, born on November 3, 1969, in Fleurier, Switzerland. He moved to Italy as a child, where he developed a passion for music, learning piano and DJing. In 1994, Miles composed "Children," a trance track inspired by the child victims of war, which became a global hit, selling over five million copies and earning him numerous awards, including a Brit Award for International Breakthrough Act in 1997. Miles passed away on May 9, 2017, in Ibiza, Spain.
