Nox
Nox Guni, born Enock Guni on September 6, 1983, in Zaka, Masvingo, Zimbabwe, is a renowned Zimbabwean musician, songwriter, and producer. He emerged as a significant figure in the early 2000s Urban Grooves movement in Zimbabwe. Nox's musical journey began in 2002 with his debut hit "Iwe Maria," following his participation in SHAPE Zimbabwe projects. He released his first album, "Wandipengesa," in 2004, featuring several radio hits like "Ndinonyara" and "WhatsApp."
Throughout his career, Nox has collaborated with notable artists such as South African musicians Makhadzi, Mr. Brown, DJ Tira, and Master KG. His 2009 album "Music, Love and Me" included the track "Wandinoda," which was selected by Sony Music Africa for the reality show Big Brother's soundtrack. Nox has been a pioneering artist in the Urban Grooves genre, maintaining his influence over two decades.
Nox's discography includes albums like "Rhythm And Blues," "Chapter 3," "Zim’s Finest," and "The Surprise" (2020). His contributions to music have earned him numerous accolades, including the Zimbabwe Music Awards Male Artist of the Year in 2013 and Best Touring Artist in 2014.
