Bravo
Bravo is a rock and roll band founded in 1983 in Moscow, Russia, by guitarist Evgeny Khavtan. The band emerged as a key figure in the Soviet rock and roll revival of the 1980s, drawing heavy inspiration from 1950s Western music. Despite the limited popularity of rock and roll and beat music in the Soviet Union at the time, Bravo became one of the most popular underground acts in Russia during the 1980s. Their first album was released in 1983.

The band initially featured lead singer Zhanna Aguzarova, who left in 1988. Bravo continued to achieve success with different vocalists, including Valeriy Syutkin from 1990 to 1994 and Robert Lenz from 1996 onwards. After a decade-long hiatus from studio recordings, Bravo released the album "Fashion" (Мода) in 2011, which was well-received by critics and attracted a younger audience. The album was produced by Ghian Wright and featured vintage instruments from the 50s and 60s, with a cover photograph of Audrey Hepburn from the film "Roman Holiday."

Bravo's discography includes several studio albums, such as "Cassette 1983," "Bravo" (1987), "Fops from Moscow" (1990), "Moscow Beat" (1993), and "Fashion" (2011), among others. They have also released compilations and live albums, including "Zhanna Aguzarova and Bravo" (1993) and "30 Years. Concert in Stadium Live" (2014). The band remains active and continues to be a significant presence in the Russian music scene.
